Hin Pap (White Rice)
- 2 cups short-grain white rice (not instant)
- 2⅔ cups water
How to make Hin Hap
- Pour the rice and water into a deep saucepan, and stir to combine.
- Bring to a boil over high heat.
- Boil, uncovered, for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir.
- Cover pan, reduce heat to low, and simmer rice 20 to 25 minutes, or until all water is absorbed.
- Remove pan from heat.
- Keep covered for 10 minutes.
- Fluff with a fork and serve hot.
